History, charts and maxes
Every day you trained, what was planned against what you did, and how it adds up.
The calendar
The History tab has two views along the top: Calendar and Charts.
The calendar starts with your training days and pieces logged, then a month with every day you logged something tinted. Use the arrows to change month and tap a day to list its pieces. A piece that set a record is tagged PR. Pull down to refresh.
On the web, History in the sidebar lists the last few months by day.
A day's review
Tap a piece to open its review. It puts what was planned next to what you did:
- Planned
- The prescription as it was that day.
- Actual
- Your score, and how you performed it.
- Deviations
- What you changed: swaps, loads, reps, a cap.
- Heart rate
- For a workout the watch ran, your heart rate for each round.
- Sets
- The load for each set, or each round's time.
- Notes
- What you wrote.
Edit this piece opens the log to correct it, or delete it. A day you trained but didn't log has Log this piece. On the web, opening a day shows the same review, with the Apple Health data the watch recorded (read only).
Charts
Choose a period at the top (this week, 4 weeks or 12 weeks; the web adds a year), then a screen:
- Overview
- The headline numbers for the period.
- Volume
- How much work you did, and of what kind.
- Records
- Your best lifts, ranked by estimated 1RM.
- Strength
- Pick a lift to see its estimated 1RM over time.
- Conditioning
- Time in each heart-rate zone, one-minute recovery, heart-rate drift, and an erg power curve. These need workouts the watch ran.
- Coverage
- Which kinds of movement (weightlifting, gymnastics, monostructural) you've trained across which time domains, so the gaps show.
- Benchmarks
- Every benchmark you've done more than once, and how each attempt went.
On the web, the same charts are under Analytics in the sidebar.
My maxes
Profile › Lifting › My maxes (or My maxes in the web's sidebar) keeps every lift's numbers in one table:
- 1RM
- The heaviest single you've made.
- e1RM
- Your estimated 1RM, worked out from your sets of more than one rep.
- 3RM, 5RM
- Your best for three and for five.
Tap a lift to see its percentage chart, 40% to 100% in steps of 5, or type any percentage. Weights are rounded to your plates. Choose whether the chart works from your 1RM or your e1RM.
Know a max from before CrossAdapt? Tap + (on the web, Enter a max), choose the lift, and enter the weight and the date. CrossAdapt uses your maxes to turn percentages in the programming into real weights.
Max-rep sets never count toward a 1RM.
