Your gym
Book classes and appointments, sign the gym's documents, and see your membership and invoices.
My gym
Everything between you and your gym is in one place: Profile › My gym on the phone, or My gym in the web's sidebar (the gym's name, if you belong to more than one).
It shows your status with the gym, your membership and any balance, then the way in to classes, appointments, documents and invoices, followed by what you share with the gym and what it sends you.
Some of it depends on your status. While your membership is pending, you can see the gym, its timetable and the documents to sign. Once you're a trial or active member, you can book and everything else opens. A frozen membership can still read, cancel bookings, chat and pay, but can't book.
Book a class
Today's classes are on Today, as tiles under the date. For other days, tap Schedule on that card, or go to Profile › My gym › Class schedule (on the web, My gym › Classes).
- Reserve
- Book your place.
- Join waitlist
- The class is full. When a place opens, you're moved in automatically, in order, and you get a notice.
- Check in
- Check yourself in when you arrive. It opens shortly before class; the gym sets the window. You can also check in at the gym's kiosk.
- Cancel
- Give your place up (Leave waitlist if you're waiting).
Cancelling close to the start counts as a late cancel. CrossAdapt asks first (“Late cancel?”) with Cancel my place or Keep it. Your gym decides what a late cancel means.
Your gym's rules may stop a booking: reservations open a set number of days ahead and close shortly before class, there may be a limit of classes a day, a past-due balance or an unsigned waiver can block booking, and some gyms need a membership to book. The message tells you which. Signing the waiver or paying the balance clears it.
If the gym cancels a class you're in, you get a notice.
Book an appointment
For personal training and other one-to-one sessions, when your gym lets members book their own.
- On the web, go to My gym › Appointments and tap Book. On the phone, open Profile › My gym › Class schedule and tap Book an appointment.
- Choose the type of session, a coach (or Any coach) and the day.
- Pick one of the free times, add a note for the coach if you like, and book it.
The page also shows your credits (sessions your plan includes), what's coming up, and past and cancelled sessions. If staff book or cancel one for you, you get a notice. A late cancel or a no-show may use up the credit, depending on your gym.
Membership and invoices
On the phone, Profile › My gym shows your plans (Active, Frozen or Starting), your balance and anything past due, and lists your invoices.
To pay, use the web: My gym › Membership and invoices at app.crossadapt.app.
- Pay an invoice: open it and tap Pay now. Payment is by card, straight to your gym through Stripe. Print gives you a copy.
- Save a card and your membership is charged to it automatically from then on. It shows as Card on file. Your gym may also email you a link to save one.
- Invoice emails have a Pay now link too. It pays that one invoice without signing in, and works for 30 days.
You'll get a reminder three days before an invoice is due, and again one and seven days after if it's still open. To change or freeze a membership, or for anything about a charge, ask your gym's front desk: memberships and payments belong to the gym.
Waivers and documents
Your gym may ask you to sign a waiver or policy before you book.
- Open Profile › My gym › Documents (on the web, My gym › Documents).
- Read the document, type your full name, and tick that you've read it and agree.
- Tap Sign.
If the gym changes a document, it's a new version and you'll be asked to sign again. On the web, Read what you signed and Print show your signed copy.
What the gym sends you
Choose how you hear from your gym in Profile › My gym (on the web, My gym › What the gym sends you):
- Notices
- Your classes, appointments and invoices: a cancelled class, a waitlist place, a booking, an invoice due. By push, by email, or both.
- Announcements
- News from the gym. By push, by email, or both.
- High fives
- By push, at most one an hour for each result, never at night.
- Chat
- By push, when someone mentions you or staff post.
- Challenges
- By push: the start, halfway, the last three days, and the final standings.
To get pushes on a phone, tap Get notices on this phone there and allow notifications. If it says Notifications are off, tap it to open the phone's settings. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom, and replying to a gym's email reaches the gym.
