iPhone Android Web Athletes

Units and heart rate

In Profile › Training:

Units
Pounds or Kilograms. Loads show in your unit everywhere. You can still log a single set in the other unit.
Max heart rate
In beats per minute. The five heart-rate zones on the watch and in your charts are worked out from it, and shown underneath.

On the web, both are under Profile › Athlete.

The top of Profile shows your name, your gym and age group, and tiles for your weight, sessions and training days.

Bar and plates

In Profile › Bar and plates, choose your bar and set how many pairs of each plate you have. CrossAdapt rounds suggested loads to weights you can actually build, and the watch shows the plates for each side. Set it on the phone; the web shows it read-only.

Apple Health and Health Connect

iPhone and Apple Watch

The first time you open Profile, the iPhone asks to read your date of birth and weight from Apple Health. They fill in your age group (for masters divisions) and the weight on Profile, and stay on the phone. Profile › Body shows your weight trend and relative strength.

The watch saves each workout it runs to Apple Health, and reads heart rate, active energy and distance while a workout runs.

To change what CrossAdapt can read or write, open the Health app, tap your picture, then Apps › CrossAdapt.

Android

The Android app asks Health Connect for your latest body weight only, the first time Profile opens, and never writes anything. The Body card has Allow weight access or Health Connect settings to change it. Health Connect has no date of birth, so type it into Profile › Body › Date of birth; it sets your masters bracket where your gym hasn't, and stays on the phone.

Photo and username

Profile › Photo and username holds what other members see of you:

  • Photo: Choose a photo, Take a photo or Remove. A new photo is checked before anyone sees it. Without one, you're shown by your initials.
  • Username: type one and tap Save. Friends find you by it.
  • Blocked: people you've blocked; swipe to Unblock.
  • Contact support: emails support@crossadapt.app.

Connections

On the iPhone, Profile › Connections links CrossAdapt to where you already keep your training. (The Android app and the web don't connect to these.)

Beyond the Whiteboard
Tap Connect BTWB, sign in with your BTWB email and password, and choose the track to follow. Its days appear on Today, and you can send results back with Send to BTWB. Sign out of BTWB disconnects it.
SugarWOD
Tap Connect SugarWOD, sign in, then choose the gym and the track. Load last 4 weeks brings in recent programming. To bring your SugarWOD scores into your history, tap Load logged results, then Send last 14 days to CrossAdapt. Send results back with Send to SugarWOD. Sign out of SugarWOD disconnects it.

With either connected, Today has a re-fetch row to pull the day again, and an empty day offers Fetch from BTWB or Fetch from SugarWOD.

Notifications

Gym notifications are set in Profile › My gym; see What the gym sends you. Friend requests and high fives from friends are in Community › Friends. To get pushes at all, tap Get notices on this phone in Profile › My gym and allow them.

Your CrossAdapt plan

On the web, Profile › Your CrossAdapt plan shows who pays for your account:

  • Covered by your gym: your membership includes CrossAdapt and there's nothing to pay.
  • On your own: the personal plan, with Pay by card, Manage card once a card is saved, and Invoices from CrossAdapt.

The apps show the plan's status but never sell anything; paying is on the web. If the plan goes unpaid, everything still reads but saving is off until it's paid.

Profile › Coach export on the phone exports your sessions as a spreadsheet (Export CSV) to send to a coach.

Signing out and deleting your account

Profile › Account shows the email you're signed in with, your watch key (with Issue watch key now), and Sign out.

Delete your account

  1. Go to Profile › Account in the iPhone or Android app, or Profile › Account on the web.
  2. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account, profile and results are removed straight away. Your gym keeps its own records of your membership under its own policies. If you're the only owner of a gym, make someone else an owner first. You can also email support@crossadapt.app from the address on your account. See the privacy policy for what's kept and why.

Something here doesn't match what you see, or still stuck? Email support@crossadapt.app and a person will answer.
